About Me

bio1Life is full of transitions and Bunting Hill Arts was born during one of those times. I have always loved working with my hands and have explored many different creative directions that at various times included quilt making, porcelain doll making, clock making, and multi-medium collages.

My jewelry originated from my love of collecting vintage glass beads in the form of old necklaces and re-purposing those beads into new jewelry pieces. Soon that was not enough for me and I determined to learn to create my own glass beads. That was back in 2006…

It was at this time that I was ready to let go of 35 years as an RN working with the rehabilitation of Stroke and Brain Injury patients. Wanting to create with my own glass has fired a passion for all aspects of jewelry design and my pieces now reflect my love of metalsmithing as well.  When I am not in my studio I am running agility, and training with my two dogs,  digging in the dirt in my gardens or floating in the pool with a glass of wine and my beloved husband…
